The Product:
Effortel's products and services are focused in the telecom industry. They provide the right technology and reliable platform for newly established or already existing MVNOs – hosting and management. This includes all standard (and many valued-added) mobile services:
• Voice, SMS, roaming, voicemail, and mobile data services;
• Flexible and innovative tariff management;
• Self-care using Web, voice, SMS, or USSD;
• SIM based toolkits;

The platform is designed to work with any protocol on any type of network – including CDMA, GSM, WiMax – the platform can scale up to 10 million subscribers. It is a carrier grade IN (Intelligent Network) system with a full suite of OSS/BSS tools, which synchronizes perfectly with the existing MVNO's technology.

The challenge:
With over 1,500 manual test cases, the quality assurance process for the Client's applications is quickly becoming very challenging to maintain. The application is constantly growing (more features are added) and we had to find a way to reduce testing times, increase the amount of test cases and improve the system quality overall without introducing more additional testing time. Based on this experience, the SQA Quality Assurance team proposed to automate the testing process in areas where it is possible. Due to the complexity of the application, we started a process of investigation of what should the best testing architecture be.

The results:
SQA-Service test and validation team's professionalism helps the Client to provide its customers high quality product, by discovering of all the critical and major defects and on time. SQA-Service plays a leading role in one of the largest MVNO's project launch, working together with the end customer test team, training them, conducting features testing, performance testing and all the report generation to produce reliable quality metrics.
